Husky-CNOOC Madura Limited merupakan salah satu Production Sharing Contract (PSC) Badan Pelaksana Kegiatan Usaha Hulu Minyak dan Gas Bumi (BPMIGAS) yang kemudian diubah menjadi Satuan Kerja Khusus Pelaksana Kegiatan Usaha Hulu Minyak dan Gas Bumi (SKK Migas). Kementerian Energi dan Sumber Daya Mineral, sebagai perwakilan Pemerintah Republik Indonesia untuk melakukan eksplorasi dan eksploitasi minyak dan gas bumi di Selat Madura. HCML sebelumnya dikenal sebagai Husky Oil (Madura) Limited (“HOML”). Sebagai operator Selat Madura, HCML saat ini dimiliki oleh Husky Oil Madura Partnership (“HOMP”), CNOOC South East Asia Limited (“CNOOC”), dan SMS Development Limited (“Samudra”).

1. HCML – Reservoir Engineer

Perform related reservoir engineering tasks (Reservoir engineering analysis, simulation, surveillance, etc.) across multiple fields to support exploration, development, and production programs and ensure compliance with company, shareholders, SKK Migas, and Government Regulations.

Requirements

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in Petroleum engineering or other related Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in the Reservoir engineering.
  • Experienced in full-cycle reservoir simulation: data integration, model building, validation, history matching, scenario-based forecasting, and risk analysis.
  • Skilled in applying analytical material balance methods and conducting well deliverability analyses, including AOFP assessment and maximum production rate evaluation.
  • Proficient in evaluating reservoir performance through integrated analysis of fluid properties, pressure data, and various production datasets.
  • Experienced in hands-on reservoir study data preparation, analysis and reservoir simulation using PetrelRE and Eclipse.
  • Able to execute PTA and RTA analysis independently and analyze the result.
  • Able to validate well and fluid data, interpret production tests, analyze production network systems, identify well issues, and perform root cause analysis for low or off production.
  • Able to develop and validate well production models by integrating IPR, wellbore configuration, rock and fluid properties, surface equipment data, and production performance analysis.
  • Able to analyze surface issues related to produced water, solids, and gas disposal.
  • Experienced in the design, modeling, and supervision of sand control measures using log, core, and production data, including grain size distribution and UCS modeling.
  • Able to interpret and incorporate data from production logging operations into the design and implementation of completion, remediation and P&A operations for horizontal, high pressure, high temperature or harsh well control situations.
  • Familiar with daily reservoir surveillance, production monitoring, and well test analysis (using Kappa and Harmony will be advantage).
  • Have experience in handling Retrograde Gas Condensate Field will be advantage.

2. HCML – Engineer Well Intervention

Plan, design, and execute well intervention operations for company’s offshore gas fields, ensuring technical integrity, operational safety, and cost efficiency throughout the well lifecycle. This includes workover, well stimulation, slickline, wireline operations, and related activities in alignment with company standards, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering or other related Engineering disciplines.
  • Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in drilling function in Oil & Gas Industry.
  • Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in drilling and completion activities.
  • Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in well completion and workover operations in offshore oil and gas projects.
  • Able to apply well control procedures to manage and prevent well control issue during well completion operation and well intervention.
  • Solid experience in planning and supervising completion and well intervention campaigns (such as upper/lower completions, sand control, PDHG, well testing, slickline &wireline operation, wellhead maintenance, chemical treatment, and production enhancement techniques etc.)
  • Familiarity with completion\intervention standards such as API, ISO, NORSOK, NACE MR0175, and with best practices in completion software and modeling tools, and basic knowledge of HPHT and sour gas environment considerations.
  • Knowledgeable in tubing design, stress analysis, erosion modeling, Liquid loading simulation and fluid loss/sand production simulation is preferred. ▪ Able to conduct basic analysis of issue, time requirement and probability success in the well abandonment operations.
  • Strong understanding of offshore operations, HSE compliance, and logistics in offshore work environments.
  • IWCF Level 3 (Well control, IADC, Equivalence requirement) certification is preferable.
  • Proficient in landmark design software (WellPlan, WellCat) and Completion Manager or equivalent software.
  • Familiar with WIMS interface for referencing barrier envelopes, MASP limits, and integrity requirements.

3. HCML – Lead Engineer Production

Responsible to manage the interface between the reservoir, wells, and operational teams and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure that operating fields are producing optimally by evaluating inflow and outflow performance between the reservoir, wellbore, and surface facility.

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering or other related Engineering disciplines.
  • Minimum of 12 years of working experience as Production Engineer in the oil and gas industry, with at least 5 years of experience in Gas Production.
  • Well intervention or workover experience in horizontal wells.
  • Well intervention or workover experience in carbonate reservoirs.
  • Experience in high pressure – high temperature (HPHT) gas wells.
  • Experience in handling sand production problems.
  • Experience in drilling new wells or new development wells will be an advantage.
  • Experience in conducting risk assessments for oil and gas field operations.
  • Strong knowledge of Petroleum & Production Engineering.
  • Technical knowledge of oil and gas, as well as international standards relating to well integrity.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in Nodal Analysis, Production Logging, Tubing Movement & Stress Analysis for Dynamic Producing/Stimulation Conditions, Well Interventions and Workover, Well Stimulation, and Well Integrity.
  • Proficiency in operating Pipesim, Prosper, WellFlo, and SafeWells.
  • Ability to assess and rationalize complex data to formulate operational and engineering plans and strategies.
